Before founding Five Ridge Financial, David spent years working directly with families navigating complex financial decisions. That hands-on experience shapes every recommendation he makes today. He believes financial planning should be built around a family's actual situation, not around a product catalogue.

David works primarily with Canadian families earning well but looking for coordination across their insurance, investments, debt strategy, and retirement planning. His planning process follows the Five Ridge framework, starting with protection and building through to legacy.

Kristen brings a background in registered nursing and university instruction to Five Ridge Financial. Her clinical training gives her a sharp eye for detail and process, and her experience as an educator means she can break down complex financial concepts into language that actually makes sense.

Kristen oversees the client experience from first contact through ongoing service, making sure every family feels heard, informed, and supported throughout the planning process. She is the reason the firm's onboarding, communication, and follow-up systems work as well as they do.

Her perspective as both a healthcare professional and a parent of young children gives her a practical understanding of the financial pressures Canadian families face. That lived experience informs how Five Ridge Financial communicates, educates, and serves its clients.
